The 500th Keiser Report and once again putting the German elections into a proper persepective

The 500th edition of the Keiser Report and that in itself should be enough to warrant its place in this blog. However, also worth watching if any clarification of yesterday’s comment on the General Election in Germany is required. Once again, therefore:

“Such is the logic of what is ultimately capitalism, the not quite so underprivileged here will soon be even poorer and that is when the fun and games will stop and the real politics will begin. Until then it does not matter a jot whether it is Merkel or Steinbrück, Cameron or Milliband, Donald Duck or Micky Mouse. It is all a variation of a theme folks and it is not even entertaining television.”

Interesting that Professor Steve Keen, the author of “Debunking Economics” appears to see some sort of acceptable face of capitalism in the United States of the 60s. However, we might be sure that he for one knows why the military industrial complex morphed into the financial political complex and that real change is not going to happen in any Western parliament.

There are a lot of poor bastards out there being used and abused; it is just not cricket "old bean". Something tells me that ignorance is not bliss, but is, in fact, simply ignorance and in the global village we cannot look the other way.
